NFL Draft Diamonds and our staff have been bringing our readers Prospect Interviews over the past 2 years and this year we mixed up the questions and added some fun questions for our readers.  We have tons of NFL staff that read our interviews, and we actually received several of the questions from NFL scouts we speak too.  This gives them a little bit more information regarding your character.  We hope to bring you more than 300 interviews of NFL Draft Prospects this season.  You will be able to track them all on the front page of our website in the banner.

Quarterback

Where do you play college football?

I play at Sacred Heart University a member of the Northeast Conference

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

In past years as a team we have had a Special needs football clinic. We have fun activities and teach the kids the fundamentals of the game.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

The hardest class I have ever taken would be Catholic Theology. Going to a catholic school we have core requirements that makes us take religion classes.

Where are you from?

I am from Lowell, MA.

Who is your role model, and why?

My role model is my dad. My dad has taught me many things on and off the football field and I look up to him because he is very hardworking and unselfish. His dedication to help others is something that does not go unnoticed.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Growing up I also played Baseball, Basketball, and ran indoor track.

Did you play any other positions in football?

When I was younger I played QB, safety, and cornerback.

At your position, what separates you from others?

I believe that my ability to both run and throw separates me from others in football.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

When breaking down film I look at what coverages the defense plays to certain offensive formations and I look for what guys I can read in the run game. Also I look for potential match up problems with my WRs against the other teams DBs.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

The toughest player I have ever faced would be Gordon Hill. He was a member of my team and going against him every day in practice was extremely difficult but it only made me a better player.

rj noelIf you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

One NFL player I would compare myself to would be Russell Wilson because we play a very similar style of game. We both have the ability to throw and run. I also believe that we have the same skill sets.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

The biggest obstacle I had to overcome in life would be my parents divorce when I was at a young age. I overcame this obstacle by staying and living with my dad since it happened. I knew everything was going to be fine as long I was with him.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

The only pre-game ritual I have is eating my favorite meal the night before every game. (Chipotle)

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

As a small school football player I have to overcome obstacles like not getting the newest gear and equipment, certain training technologies, getting your team recognized on a national stage, athletic training room resources, and showing that you can play with the best competition in the country.

What is your biggest strength?

I would say my biggest strength is my toughness emotionally and physically. As well as my ability to not get rattled in a key situation in a game.

What is your biggest weakness?

My biggest weakness is that I can be stubborn at times.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

If I was to sell myself to a GM in one second I would say, “I will do everything in my power to help this team win.”

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

My favorite NFL team is the New England Patriots and my favorite player is Tom Brady.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Three people I would want to have dinner with would be Phil Knight (Founder of Nike Inc), Kanye West (Entertainer), and Morgan Freeman (Actor)

With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy?

With my first NFL pay check I would buy something very special for the two most important people in my life and thank them for everything they have done.
