NFL Draft Diamonds and our staff have been bringing our readers Prospect Interviews over the past 2 years and this year we mixed up the questions and added some fun questions for our readers.  We have tons of NFL staff that read our interviews, and we actually received several of the questions from NFL scouts we speak too.  This gives them a little bit more information regarding your character.  We hope to bring you more than 300 interviews of NFL Draft Prospects this season.  You will be able to track them all on the front page of our website in the banner.

Where do you play college football? 

Midwestern State

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field? 

Work in a kitchen to prepare over 700 meals for the Elderly. I think it was a food drive 

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Hardest class I’ve taken has to be contemporary math. 

Where are you from? 

I’m from Houston, TX. 

Who is your role model, and why? 

My dad. He’s always been there to show me the right and wrong way to do things and showed me hard work pays off. 

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Basketball and Baseball.  

Did you play any other positions in football? 

I’ve played QB, RB, CB, OLB

At your position, what separates you from others? 

My versatility and football IQ. 

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

Route combinations. Favorite formations and concepts.

Ricky Collins from Texas A&M Commerce. He was pretty nice. 

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why? 

Earl Thomas. Physical, relentless, versatile. 

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it? 

Accepting not playing at a division 1 school, and I overcame it by working harder to prove small schoolers can play with anyone. 

Do you have any pre-game rituals? 

Just being even keeled and relaxed. Listen to Lil Wayne. 

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

Just not having the same privileges as division 1 schools. 

What is your biggest strength? 

Tackling, range 

What is your biggest weakness? 

Size. Body type of a corner but a SS

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say? 

I’m a true student of the game and it’s my passion. I’m relentless in my efforts and very coachable! 

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up? 

Charles Woodson, Sean Taylor 

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose? 

Sean Taylor, Lil Wayne, My Grandpa 

With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy?

My Mom and Dad a new house
