Talk about your experience as a student. What is your major/minor? Did you participate in any other activities or campus organizations other than football?

  • This summer I received my undergraduate degree in communications and will be pursuing my master’s degree in education.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?

  • good leader by example. Whatever needs to be done will get done.

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?

  • A bigger role in leadership being a 2-year starter, taking full command of the offense. Being a quarterback in a spread/fast-paced offense means getting the ball out to my playmakers. 

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?

  • The best player I’ve played against was a Defensive lineman from San Jose State, Junior Fehoko

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?

  • My Receiver Nate Bennett impresses me as he is always doing his best to get better each day on and off the field

What makes you different from others at your position? 

  • My ability to make plays when the play breaks down sets me apart from other QBs

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.

  • My senior year of high school I broke my wrist and was done for the season – it was tough sitting on the sideline when I knew I could be out there helping my team and thought with only one offer I would get overlooked. However, I kept working and here I am today.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?

  • If I didn’t play football I would Definitely play basketball 

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?

  • I’m most proud of graduating from college because not a lot of people can say that and my biggest achievement is winning a close game versus our rival Eastern Washington 

Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.

  • My most memorable play was my first touchdown as a starter, back of the end zone pass versus San Jose State

Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?

  • My favorite athlete is Lebron James. I model my game after Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson 

What gets you “pumped up” before a game?

  • My pre-game music that really gets me pumped up is my Lil Baby playlist 

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies? Any secret talents?

  • Spare time I like to relax and play video games – my hobby is playing golf, whenever I get the chance I’m golfing

Why do you play football? Who or what motivates you the most?

  • I play football because it genuinely makes me happy, and I get to display the talent I was given/worked for. My motivation comes from wanting to be the best role model for my nephews and niece.

What do you want NFL teams to know about you? 

  • I’m a competitor, give me any task and it’s going to get done at the best of my ability (and more).
