Tennessee High School football player shot and killed and police need help identifying the shooters

John John Mathis shot and killed in Knoxville, Tennessee.

John John Mathis was a 17 year old standout football player in Tennessee that was shot and killed over the weekend.

According to a police report, the Knoxville Police Department is still investigating a shooting that left a star high school athlete dead on Sunday.

According to the report, an investigation showed that there was a large grouping of people when a fight broke out and shots were fired.

There were three gunshot victims according to the report, but John John Mathis did not survive the shooting.

Two other surviving victims were 29 year old Tricia Fisher and 25 year old Anthony Taylor.

Police are looking for any information. Because of the large gathering there were definitely witnesses present, so police is asking for our help.
