Coming up in a single parent home was very tough but it was worth it. We didn’t always have what we wanted, but we always got what we needed. I’m the second child of seven so I had to grow up fast. I had to cook, clean, and take care of my younger siblings frequently.

Listening to music

What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?

My most memorable play is exciting and disappointing all in one. During my junior year at MTSU, we were playing Western Kentucky and they were drove the ball down to the goal line. I was covering their best player, Taywan Taylor who was a third round draft pick. Taylor ran a fade route in the end zone and I covered the route perfectly. I got two hands on the ball but I couldn’t haul in the interception. That play showed me I can play with anybody but I still need to improve and intercept any pass that I get my hands on.

I purchased gifts for my mother and my siblings randomly one year. They were very happy.
