Justin Fields trade market continues to dwindle

Bears GM Ryan Poles sounded as if a Justin Fields trade will be happening soon
Justin Fields trade market continues to dwindle

There have been rumors that Justin Fields will be traded at the Chicago Bears will get something nice in return, but the days continue to pass by and the market is starting to get slimmer by the day.

There is now a report that the Atlanta Falcons have interest in signing a veteran, and they are leaning towards Kirk Cousins. According to Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, Cousins wife is from Georgia, and there are very credible indications that has Cousins moving on to the Falcons.

“We can’t get into the specifics, for now. But we’re getting very credible indications that Cousins is seriously considering moving his family to Atlanta. Which would mean, obviously, that he’d be signing with the Falcons.”

That is fine if the Falcons pull out right? Everyone keeps liking Justin Fields to the Steelers. So I mean at least he can go to Pitt right?

Welp, not so fast.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly out on the Justin Fields race, staying away from conversations about trading for the Chicago Bears quarterback, according to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini.

“Additionally, Pittsburgh is not among the teams actively working to trade for Fields, league sources told The Athletic’s Dianna Russini,” they wrote.

The report also claims the Steelers are out on Russell Wilson, Kirk Cousins and Baker Mayfield.

So then who else could be in the mix? The Justin Fields trade could end up getting ugly. Could Justin Fields end up being a back-up next year?
