Lincoln University defensive tackle Jamain Pink passed away after getting shot outside club

Jamain Pink tragically killed
I wish I could have performed an interview with this senior defensive lineman rather than have to write about him being shot and killed. We need a change.

On August 10, 2020 Jamain Pink a massive defensive tackle from Lincoln University was shot multiple times outside a club called the Lit Lounge. According to reports, Pink, a Lincoln University criminal justice senior and football player, was pronounced dead at 12:24 p.m. on Thursday of last week.

Pink was a transfer from Cheyney University a program that shut down in 2018. Pink was headed into his senior year. The worst part is Pink was a father to a little son.

He was formerly an offensive lineman that switched recently to the defensive side of the ball. Pink recorded 11 tackles last season.

Andre S. Keyes Brown, 36, of the 1000 block of Walnut Street was taken into custody for the shooting. He was charged with attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault and related counts a week after the shooting. Now, that Pink has passed his charges could be increased.

We please ask that you pray for the Pink family and his son. I am not sure how these things keep happening. I wish we could have completed an interview on you rather than me type this big guy.

I wanted to post your highlights big guy! I had to get some clips from Cheyney, but may you rest in paradise.

Jamain’s family has listed a Go Fund Me Account for him. This is what the profiles says. Please donate if you can. Any amount will help go towards his son.

Jamain Pink, a Lincoln University criminal justice senior and football player, died on Thursday, Aug 27th at the young age of 25 years old. He passed away due to tragically being shot several times in the parking lot at Lit Lounge in Reading PA.  Jamain was looking forward to entering the NFL 2021 draft to fulfill his dream of becoming a pro athlete. He was a caring son and oldest to 6 brothers. As well as a loving father to a 2-year-old boy. He was a very humble person who was very family-oriented. All proceeds will go to his 2-year-old son and will be greatly appreciated. This is the only gofundme account for Jamain Pink.
