The Carolina Panthers thought they finalized a deal with Free agent cornerback Alan Ball, but he left Charlotte on Friday without finalizing a deal with the Carolina Panthers, according the Charlotte Observer.

Ball concluded his visit with the Panthers on Friday, team spokesman Ryan Anderson said. A league source said Ball, a former Jacksonville starter in his eighth season, has interest from other teams as well.
