Marshall QB Rakeem Cato breaks Russell Wilson’s record

Marshall quarterback Rakeem Cato has set an NCAA record, throwing a touchdown pass in his 39th consecutive game.

He came into the game sharing the Football Bowl Subdivision record with Russell Wilson, who threw a touchdown pass in each of the final 38 games of his career for North Carolina State and Wisconsin from 2009 through 2012.

Cato has 107 career touchdown passes, by far the most of any active player.
