New York Giants are on the verge of signing Josh Freeman
According to Adam Caplan the New York Giants are on the verge of signing Josh Freeman as Eli Manning’s back-up. After losing o out on Matt Flynn yesterday to the Packers, the team kicked their pursuit of Freeman into high gear. A deal should be completed soon according to Caplan.

Freeman was pretty bad in Minnesota last year, but with the right coaching he could turn into a stud for the G-Men. Let’s face it, it will definitely put a little pressure on Eli to play better than he did last season. 27 interceptions is unacceptable, and I think that is the message the Giants are trying to send.
