Chris Johnson signing probably rules an end to Mike Goodson
After a relatively conservative first month of free agency, the New York Jets made one of the best moves of the off-season, reaching agreement with former Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson on a two-year deal.
Profootballtalk reports Chris Johnson’s two-year contract with the Jets has a base value of $8 million.
The team took to Twitter Wednesday afternoon to confirm the signing:

What does this mean for Mike Goodson? The guy has been in trouble in the past, and now it looks like his time in New York is over. According to NYDN writer Manish Mehta, Goodson will likely be released by next week.
