Vikings should trade Ponder to Buffalo

The Buffalo Bills have horrible depth at quarterback and now they are in the market for a back up quarterback. One of the best guys available could be Christian Ponder who has already worked with E.J. Manuel as both were at Florida State University together. This could be an option because the Bills head coach is not pumped about his back-ups.

“I’m not going to sit here and say I’m satisfied with the backup quarterback,” Marrone said, per The Buffalo News. “I’m not.”

Jeff Tuel could make the team, but the team seems down on Thad Lewis who they traded for and Dennis Dixon the former Oregon QB.

Mark Sanchez or Christian Ponder are the best options right now and the Bills might be forced to do something soon.

“Our conversations are always, ‘Hey, if we can better our football team, whatever we have to do, we will,'” Marrone said. “We wouldn’t be doing right to ourselves, the team, the fans, if we didn’t.”
