Victor Cruz is excited for Robinson Cano, even though he is leaving New York
Although the move may hurt his beloved Yankees for years to come, Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz was thrilled for fellow Roc Nation client Robinson Cano after the former Bomber agreed to a 10-year, $240 million deal with Seattle on Friday.
“I’m ecstatic,” Cruz said. “I know him personally and he’s a good dude, he’s a great guy and I’m happy he was able to get the deal I know he wanted for sure.”
Even with Cano leaving the Yankees, Cruz is still going to be pulling for him.
“I’m a Robinson Cano fan, I’ll tell you that. I’ll be Yankees through and through. I’m definitely a Robinson fan,” Cruz said.”I hope he does well.”
