The Bills win with late second heroics from Manuel

If you weren’t watching the Buffalo Bills game it is a shame. Rookie quarterback EJ Manuel came back with 1:30 left on the clock and drove his team for a winning drive.

Manuel made the drive look so easy, after he had two turnovers before the final drive. The old Bills would have choked, but the calm rookie led the Bills on an 80 yard drive that ended with a Stevie Johnson touchdown in the corner of the endzone.

EJ Manuel will face Geno Smith next week, but one player that needs credit today is Mario Williams. The Bills 100 million dollar man was a freak, he finished the game with 4.5 sacks. That is the most in one game ever for a Bills player.

Mario Williams already has almost half as many sacks as he did last year after the second game of the season. The Doug Marrone/Mike Pettine scenario is working in Buffalo and could be a scary team.
