Romeo Crennel will be the next defensive coordinator of the Texans

According to FOXSports.com’s Alex Marvez, the Houston Texans will turn to another former New England assistant to serve as his defensive coordinator: Romeo Crennel.

Additionally, O’Brien has fired all the assistants from Gary Kubiak’s staff and the expectation is that his staff will have a “heavy Patriots feel” to it.

Crennel will be coaching the East/West Shrine game as well on January 18th in St. Petersburg, Florida.
