Report: Houston Texans interested in Jackson State WR

imageThe Houston Texans have reached out to Jackson State WR Zachary Pendleton, per source. The Texans, whom already employ former JSU WR Rico Richardson, may be the eventual landing spot for Pendleton.

Pendleton is a lean, tall play-making WR with very gaudy tape- he made what may be the most impressive catch in college football last season vs. Tulane (see film below).

He appeared primed to move up draft boards, after a solid performance in the inaugural Medal Of Honor Bowl. Unfortunately, Pendleton suffered a fracture in his foot during training, and worked out with it at Pro Day, only running a 4.82 40 yard dash. Now recovering after surgery on the foot, there’s no doubt to this writer that an open-minded team will get a steal in Pendleton.
