Redskins lost today’s game because of turnovers; SEVEN IN ONE GAME?
The Redskins lost by one point, but technically they should have lost by 20 points. Today the Redskins gave the ball away so many times that they now lead the category in one single game record for 2013.
The Redskins had 7 turnovers today, the most by any team in a game this season. They lost 5 fumbles, no other team has lost more than 3 in a game this season. The last time the Redskins had 7 turnovers in a game was Week 2, 2004 at the Giants
It is hard to ask a rookie quarterback (2nd year) to win a game when the team gives the opponent the ball seven times. That is very hard to do, but Cousins did keep the team in the game. I think he will end up starting in the near future.
