Ravens will probably end up with a few more compensatory picks next year

The Baltimore Ravens are the best team in the league when it comes to compensatory picks. The Ravens received four extra selections this year; a third-rounder, two fourth-rounders and a fifth-rounder. The quartet of picks added is the most allowed under league rules, and it was a number matched this year only by the Jets, who landed a fourth- and three sixth-rounders.

No team has matched the Ravens’ haul in compensatory picks since that system was put into place back in 1994. Baltimore is now up to 41 selections added in that timeframe, eight more than the next closest competitors (Dallas and Green Bay). The ability to navigate the process has been one of the ways that GM Ozzie Newsome has managed to keep his team consistently competitive in the salary-cap era, and those picks should go to good use in a draft that looks as deep as ever.

This year the team has already lost four players to decent sized contracts.  I would not be surprised to see the Ravens add an additional three more picks in 2015.
