Rams name former late rounder Daryl Richardson starting RB for week 1

Former late round running back Daryl Richardson was named starting running back today by Rams Head coach Jeff Fisher.

Richardson was drafted by the Rams in the seventh round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He played college football at Abilene Christian.

Richardson played in all 16 games, gaining 475 rushing yards on 98 attempts, as well as 24 receptions for 163 yards. This could be a great fantasy pick up in the middle rounds, especially with Isiah Pead suspended for the first 4 games.
