What if Peyton Manning’s neck exam does not turn out like the team intended?

This is just a hypothetical question, but what if the neck exam that Peyton Manning is scheduled to have shows something different? Denver Broncos quarterback is scheduled to undergo his postseason neck exam Monday, according to ESPN Jeff Legwold. The Broncos don’t anticipate any issues with the exam as Manning has already passed the required exit physical that was given to all of the members of the team in the days following their Super Bowl loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

But let’s just say play the what if game, if the exam comes back bad, what will the Broncos do?  Do you think Brock Osweiler is ready to come in and face top tier defenses?

Manning made it clear that his offseason neck exam would determine if he could continue playing or not. Despite Manning’s insistence on returning in 2014, the Broncos have maintained that the annual exam is the last formality remaining.

The exam is built into Manning’s contract and Legwold reports the Broncos expect to hear Manning is good to go for the upcoming season.

Are the Broncos ready to move on without Manning?  I personally do not feel the team would perform well without Peyton and it could turn into a huge nightmare especially with the veteran quarterbacks available if Manning could not go.  I think you always have to play the “What If” game but at the end of the day, Peyton Manning will be out there next year.
