Patriots could turn to Michael Bush as they back up plan at RB

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com former Bears running back Michael Bush will be visiting the New England Patriots.  The Patriots lost out on Lagarrette Blount who signed a deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but were looking for a bigger back.  Michael Bush fits that mold. Bush (6-1, 245) rushed for 197 yards and three TDs on 63 carries for Chicago in 2013. The Bears released the 29-year-old tailback on March 10.

A fourth-round pick of the Raiders in 2007, Bush has gained 3,250 yards on 809 carries in regular season play. He spent five seasons for the Raiders (2007-2011) before joining the Bears (2012-2013).
