Packers starting center J.C. Tretter will miss several weeks
The Green Bay Packers spent nearly five months preparing JC Tretter to start at center when the regular-season opens on Sept. 4 at the Seattle Seahawks.
Now, they have less than two weeks to prime rookie Corey Linsley for the task.
This is a huge blow to the Packers, but according to Adam Schefter the Packers lucked out.
@AdamSchefter: RT @jasonjwilde: NFL source says @JCTretter did not suffer ligament damage in knee, which would have made it 6-10 weeks. Instead, 5-6 weeks.
