Packers could have signed John Kuhn’s future replacement today

Now that the offseason is upon us, it would appear the Packers want to add depth at fullback with John Kuhn set to become a free agent in March.

Kuhn is coming off one of his best seasons as a blocker but was used the least as a ball carrier since 2009. At 31 years old and just finishing his eighth season in the NFL, Kuhn is one of the oldest players on the team.

Ina Liaina had previously signed with the Miami Dolphins in the spring after coming out of college as part of the rookie class of 2013. Liaina played his college ball at San Jose State and looks like Troy Polamalu with his long black wavy hair.  Liaina is a well rounded big back, that can block, run and catch. He could be a future replacement for John Kuhn.
