One team I could see claiming Ed Reed is the Patriots

The Houston Texans released Ed Reed today after going public and stating why he felt the team lost.

“We were outplayed and outcoached” is what Reed said after the Texans latest lost.

@ESPNStatsInfo: The Texans released 9-time Pro Bowl safety Ed Reed. Including the playoffs, Reed has 70 career interceptions, 5th-most in NFL history.

One person who has always raved about Ed Reed is Bill Belichick. The Patriots could use help in the secondary, and they have the cap space to give Reed his check. I honestly feel Ed Reed would be a great fit for the Patriots, and would not be surprised if they make the move.
