Oakland will lose OT Watson for at least a month

More horrible news, comes out of Oakland today. Today, reported that left tackle Menelik Watson is expected to be sidelined for one month after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on a torn lateral meniscus in his knee.

Watson was the starter in the last preseason game this year but was forced to go to the sideline with knee pain. Khalif Barnes took his place in the lineup and started against the Indianapolis Colts.

Watson would be the back-up if Veldheer was healthy. The Raiders tried to bring in Alex Barron but the draft bust couldn’t do anything.

This is a huge blow to the Raiders, because they are getting very thin at OT.
