Lakeland University

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

Go down to our communities local elementary school for Halloween and play activities with the kids.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Biology

Where are you from?

Inkster, Michigan

Who is your role model, and why?

My grandpa was my biggest role model he taught me how to be responsible and live every day as if its my last.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Basketball and Track

Did you play any other positions in football?

Defensive End, Linebacker, Running back

At your position, what separates you from others?

I’m very versatile with good enough size that I can play in space and in the box.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I look for tendency’s as well as the offensive scheme or hand gestures.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Wheaton’s TE last year during the first round of the playoffs.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

T.J Ward our jobs are similar he plays in the box a lot and is physical enough to make plays in the run game as well as cover TE’s and WR’s down the field.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Listening to music and laying out my attire.

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

Not getting enough publicity as the bigger schools

What is your biggest strength?

My versatility  and my ability to react to plays as they’re happening.

What is your biggest weakness?    

My speed I run a 4.5 40-yard dash

kevIf I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I’m a hard worker team orientated guy that will do anything the team/organization asks of me, I’m a guy you never have to worry about off the field.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

Sean Taylor

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

My grandpa, my dad, and my grandma,
With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy?

If my mom needed something then anything she needs.
