NFL Draft Diamonds 2014 UPDATED Small School MOCK Draft

NFL Draft Diamonds First Ever Small School MOCK Draft, where we just have a little fun, and mock small schoolers to teams.  Who did your team take?

Jacksonville Jaguars Pierre Desir, CB, Lindenwood – 6’1, 205 pound athlete, who loves to play in both man coverage and zone. He has great hands and is a very mature kid for his age.

New York Giants Larry Webster, DE, Bloomsburg – 6’6, 240 pound athletic freak of nature. Larry is a converted basketball center, who has great family genes. His father was a former standout for the Ravens.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, Eastern Illinois – Jimmy G has very good poise, and while many say he is a product of a system, I have to disagree, his production continues to go up.

Saint Louis Rams from (Wash) Marcus Williams, CB, North Dakota State – Marcus has good cover skills, but is rated a little higher than I would expect. He seems to always be around the ball, and has been great this year.

Minnesota Vikings Caraun Reid, DT, Princeton – Caraun could have been a fourth rounder if he came out this year, with another year under his belt, he could be a steal of this draft.

Pittsburgh Steelers Matt Hall, OT, Belhaven University – Last year in his first complete year at OT for Belhaven he dominated. Matt was a transfer from Ole Miss, and is working wonders for the Belhaven O-Line.

Atlanta Falcons Tim Flanders, RB, Sam Houston State – Tim is the most complete back for small schoolers. He is a faster Miguel Maysonet, this kid has been on the Walter Payton Award list consecutive years, this could be his year…..

Houston Texans Ethan Westbrooks, DE, West Texas A&M – Ethan Westbrooks reminds me a lot of Ryan Davis from Bethune-Cookman a few years ago, but a quicker version. He understands the game, very solid in the run.

Oakland Raiders Jeff Janis, WR, Saginaw Valley State – Jeff is the best wide receiver in this draft class. “White Lightning” is no joke, this kid ran a 4.3 forty at his junior pro day, STUPID FAST for a white boy.

Buffalo Bills Qua Cox, CB, Jackson State – Qua is the most confident corner in this draft. He is the best corner on an island, and will be able to glove a super star wide out. Cox reminds a lot of Josh Norman, but with better skill sets.

San Diego Chargers Tyler Starr, OLB, South Dakota – This long haired Warrior reminds me of Clay Matthews.  He is a force on the outside, has great size at 6’5 and hits with a “Thunder Stick”.  Great pick up by the Chargers.

Carolina Panthers Dakota Dozier, OG, Furman – Carolina loves their interior lineman and they do well drafting them. Remember this name, Dakota is a very special/versatile lineman.

New York Jets Jordan Harris, WR, Bryant – Harris has good size and skills, I love his ability to make a play. He is the guy they go to on 3rd down.

Arizona Cardinals Zack Bauman, RB, Northern Arizona – Zack has really impressed me this year, his hard down hill running is exactly what the NFL needs.

Philadelphia Eagles Walt Aikens, CB, Liberty – Well Eagles fans you might have the most athletic player in the entire 2014 NFL Draft. Walt Aikens is a basketball/football player, who is a highlight reel. He transferred from Illinois, but just check out this kids “Dunk Contest” videos on YouTube, WOW.

St. Louis Rams Zach Kerr, DT, Delaware – This massive wall will shine in the Rams defense. He has a crazy motor for a big guy, and is an amazing person. Kerr could be a steal for the Rams.

Cleveland Browns Jeff Matthews, QB, Cornell – Jeff is the best small school quarterback when it comes to skills. He has the best release, arm strength and talent, but he doesn’t have much help in Cornell. This kid has a great release.

Baltimore Ravens Jestin Love, SS, Central Arkansas – Jestin is a player that is really quiet, but when you bust out the film, he is a beast. He is all over the field and by far the leader of the defense. This kid will be playing on Sundays.

Tennessee Titans Jeremy Butler, WR, Tennessee-Martin, This kid is under the radar right now. No one is talking about him, they are too busy talking about Erik Lora, but this kid could be the best all around wide out in the FCS.

Dallas Cowboys Deron Furr, OLB, Fort Valley State – Do you want an athletic linebacker? Well this kid is your man.  He ran a very fast forty time and was an Auburn Transfer. The kid has been tearing it up in D2.

Miami Dolphins Billy Turner, OT, North Dakota State – 6’6 versatile lineman with tons of power, and range. I believe Turner has the potential to play both inside and outside. I like his heart, and passion for the game. That is impressive to me.

Green Bay Packers LeRon Furr, OLB, OLB, Fort Valley State – First time two brothers are taken in the first round.  This Oklahoma State transfer is an amazing athlete.  The kid is a freak. Packers have a stud on their hands.

Cincinnati Bengals Nate Dreiling, DE/OLB, Pittsburg State – A D-2 Standout who can come in right away and put pressure on the opposing quarterbacks.  I love Nate because of his motor. He reminds me of a lot of former D-2 standout David Bass who is now with Oakland.

Chicago Bears Shakir Bell, RB, Indiana State – The Bears already have Matt Forte, but he has been suspect for the past few years.  Bell is the same type of back, but more versatile. The problem is his size, he is a true small RB.

Detroit Lions Eric Pike, OT, Towson – The monster Pike is a force on the outside. He has a very good first step and does not allow many sacks. He can protect Stafford and open lanes for Reggie Bush.

San Francisco 49ers Brian Clarke, OG, Bloomsburg – This athletic freak and is blowing scouts away this year. He is a big boy, that can move, and put up crazy numbers in the weight room.  I love me some Brian Clarke at 26.

New England Patriots Reggie Jordan, TE, Missouri Western – Reggie is the most underrated players in this draft. He has great hands, is very athletic for a big man, and will immediately help the Pats after losing Hernandez.

New Orleans Saints Walter Powell, WR, Murray State – Powell could be one of the most versatile players in the FCS. He is a very solid wide out, and return man.  He is getting tons of love from NFL scouts.

Cleveland Browns (from INDY) Greg Hardin, WR, North Dakota – Greg Hardin has been one of the most impressive players so far this year.  He is tearing up the rankings.  His big time play making abilities are making me gush.  I like this kid, he will get a shot at the next level.

Kansas City Chiefs Fabian Truss, OW, Samford – I have to put this kid in my mock draft, he has been tearing up teams this year. He is the most explosive player in the FCS.  I love his play, and he can help at the RB position.

Seattle Seahawks Lee Doss – WR – Southern –The big framed wide receiver from Southern has been really impressive this year.  I love his hands, he can play. He has good route running skills and could end up being a sleeper for a team.  He has owned the SWAC division.

Denver Broncos Matt Hazel, WR, Coastal Carolina – Matt Hazel has been tearing up his division for a while, but for whatever reason, he is not getting any credit.  Well Matt, you have opened my eyes, Welcome to the Super Bowl Champion 49ers.
