Monte Kiffin is already making his presence felt in Dallas

If you watched the Dallas Cowboys game this week, something you had to notice different about the team was toughness.

You watched star players come out the game like Dez Bryant and Tony Romo, but it didn’t matter.

At halftime of the game, several media places reported that Romo would not return. Well guess what football fans, he did. He was one of the main reasons that the team one the game.

But the biggest reason this team won the game was great tackling and turnovers. If you watched the Cowboys defenders every play, you saw someone trying to rip the ball out. That is something that is taught. That is one of the oldest tricks in the book, and yes I am giving that credit to the old man Kiffin.

If you watched last years team, they were not as motivated to rip the ball out. They were missing tackles, were out of place a lot, and this weekend you didn’t see that.

I went out on a limb in my predictions and chose the Cowboys to be in the Super Bowl. I was laughed at, but guess what, if that defense and special teams keep ripping at the ball, they will keep winning. Defense wins championships, and Monte Kiffin is a legend.
