Michael Sam believe’s he can make it in the NFL
The first openly gay player believes after his first NFL game he can make a team.
“I can play in this league,” Sam told reporters after Friday’s Saints-Rams game. “That’s the most important. I was kind of nervous. I got some nerves out today. It was a very good learning experience, and I can play in this league.”
Sam looks like he will be good after his first tackle, but if he can build through his performance the SEC defensive player of the year could become dominant.
