Miami Dolphins new CEO fires two top officials

The New Dolphins CEO Tom Garfinkel, has been on the job for just a week, has already shaken up the franchise’s front office.

On Wednesday, Garfinkel let go of chief financial officer Mark Brockelman and chief revenue officer Jim Rushton, both of whom were hired by Garfinkel’s predecessor, Mike Dee.

The Dolphins were one of the teams that I had on the hot seat this year, especially with Jeff Ireland at GM.  Well that is one team that has really shocked me, because they have been playing very well.

The team in 2012 drew the fewest fans to Sun Life Stadium in more than two decades, and told Miami-Dade County commissioners that they expect to their losses this season to be in the millions.

The Dolphins and the Patriots are both 2-0 in the AFC East and are looking very good behind Ryan Tannehill and company. After the first week, Tannehill has found a rhythm with Mike Wallace.  If the Dolphins can get their running backs more touches and yards they could be dangerous.

The new CEO is about to go ham if the Dolphins go on a losing streak, so you better hope you keep winning Dolphins fans.
