Who is your role model, and why?

My father. He basically taught me everything I know about sports. He coached me at 5 years old in baseball, basketball, football. And he takes care of the family like a man should which I idolize. I want to be able to provide and guide my family like he has.

My toughness

Weaknesses in the person guarding me. Tendencies of coverages on certain downs.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

I don’t remember his name but number 21 from North Carolina A&T was pretty good.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Desean Jackson. We are both more straight line players than side to side. I don’t do too many moves I just use my speed and run past people. Our personalities are similar too. I play the game with passion and sometimes get a little to competitive but there is nothing wrong with a little competition.

golsonDo you have any pre-game rituals?

I run around the field, switching the ball from right to left. Then I warm up and run all the routes that I see myself running in the game. Then I go in the locker room and put a towel over my head and give myself a pep talk.

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

The biggest obstacle I feel is getting noticed. Small schools have a disadvantage because we are not on television as much as other players so our exposure is not as great.

What is your biggest strength?

My toughness & recognition of coverages

What is your biggest weakness?

My temper

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I am someone that had to work for everything in life. Nothing was ever given to me. I was always told I was too small but I feel like I’m 6’5. I wear my heart on my sleeve and this isn’t just a game too me this is my life. Proving people wrong is something I had to do my whole life and I love it. I love challenges and pressure situations. I believe in myself and always try to out work the next man.

Favorite team growing up was the Broncos because my dad was a bronco fan. My favorite player will always be Barry Sanders.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Bernie Mac, Mike Epps, and the young Chris Tucker.

A one story home for my parents so they don’t have to keep going up and down stairs.
