Major tension between Jeff Ireland and Joe Philbin in Miami

Today, ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reported on Sunday Countdown that Dolphins coach Joe Philbin and GM Jeff Ireland “appear to be safe” but there is major “tension” between the two.

What I am thinking is the Dolphins coach is being asked to probably make a decision on who will be the fall out guy.  He is probably getting an ultimatum.  This could definitely cause tension between the staff.  If the Dolphins owner doesn’t do something soon, he could be to blame.

I still don’t know how Jeff Ireland is even employed.  He spent tons of dollars on players and the team did not get better, and did not make the playoffs. I personally feel everyone needs to be fired.
