Jerry Jones says Jason Garrett job is safe for next season
Jerry Jones gave Jason Garrett a vote of confidence today which comes at a curious time for a 5-5 Cowboys team preparing for a pivotal match-up against the New York Giants. Dallas is currently one-half game behind the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East. The team is coming off an embarrassing blowout loss to the New Orleans Saints.
Garrett signed a four-year extension with the Cowboys in 2011, which gives him one more year on his deal after this season. Today Jerry Jones basically said he will be with the team in 2014.
Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones just told us Jason Garrett will return as head coach next season…
