Jaguars waive wide receiver Tavarress King and sign CB Peyton Thompson
The Jaguars added to their depleted cornerback corps today, promoting Peyton Thompson from the practice squad and waiving receiver Tavarres King.
Alan Ball (bicep) is out and Dwayne Gratz (hip flexor) questionable for Sunday’s game against Miami, leaving the Jaguars with only three healthy cornerbacks (Demetrius McCray, Will Blackmon and Jeremy Harris) before the Thompson promotion.
