Harvin, Bryant, Giacomini, and Okung all expected to play this week

Today Pete Carroll said a slew of Seahawks are set to return to the practice field today. Topping that list are wide receiver Percy Harvin (hip), left tackle Russell Okung (toe), right tackle Breno Giacomini (knee), center Max Unger (concussion), and defensive end Red Bryant (concussion). Defensive tackle Jordan Hill (biceps), safety Jeron Johnson (hamstring) and fullback Derrick Coleman (hamstring) are also back in action.

“That’s a lot of guys returning in one week’s time,” Carroll said. “You can feel it in the locker room, on the practice field, and these guys are pumped up to get going again. We’ll take advantage of that.”

Carroll called each player’s comeback a “one day at a time process,” emphasizing that in order to see the field for Sunday’s game with the Vikings each player must show the coaching staff they can endure the week of practice.
