NFL Draft

Gil Brandt’s new top 100 only has 3 small schoolers

When Gil Brandt came out with his initial top 100 he had a total of seven small schoolers, but now mid way through the year, Brandt has revamped his list.  This time only three of those players were good enough to stick on the list.  Those three were:

Jimmy Garoppolo – Quarterback of Eastern Illinois who is currently 40th on Brandt’ list

Pierre Desir – Cornerback from Lindenwood who is the best all around corner in the FCS

Matt Hall – Belhaven’s monsterous offensive tackle who transferred from Ole Miss.

Guys that fell out of his top 100 that were small schoolers are:

» Todd Washington, CB, SE Louisiana (76)
» David Born, OG, Old Dominion (89)
» Ethan Westbrooks, DE, West Texas A&M (93)
» Jeff Janis, WR, Saginaw Valley State (99)
