Giants receive great news on guard Geoff Schwartz
The New York Giants fans should smile today. There is very good news on their starting guard Geoff Schwartz. According to the Giants website, Schwartz has only a dislocated toe.
Giants guard Geoff Schwartz had his dislocated right big toe examined by Dr. Robert Anderson in Charlotte yesterday afternoon. Following the examination, it was determined that Schwartz will remain in a walking boot for approximately 7-10 days and then begin a rehabilitation program. After that, he will be evaluated on a week to week basis regarding his ability to return to football activities.
“This is just a minor setback,” said Schwartz. “I plan on attacking the rehab program so I can get back on the field as soon as possible with my teammates and help us win games.”
This likely means that Schwartz should be back sooner, rather than later.
