A judge has issued an arrest warrant for Charles Rogers after the former Detroit Lions wide receiver failed to appear at a pretrial hearing. A Saginaw District Judge issued the bench warrant earlier this week. The former second pick in the draft faces five misdemeanors from two unrelated incidents.
MLive.com reports Friday that it marks the fourth time in 18 months that a judge has issued a warrant for Rogers’ arrest. The 32-year-old is charged with making a malicious phone call and possessing marijuana, among other charges.
I remember when he came out of college at Michigan State, I thought the Lions had something special. I cannot believe he has went into such a bad slump with the law. I hope he can recover and get his life together. SadDo you follow the NFL Draft?
