Eagles trade a draft pick for Panthers running back

The Philadelphia Eagles acquired RB/KR Kenjon Barner from the Panthers in exchange for a conditional seventh-round pick in 2015.

The pick is likely contingent on Barner making the 53-man roster.

Barner played for Eagles coach Chip Kelly at Oregon, and offers some badly needed depth at running back.

A 2013 sixth-rounder, Barner managed only six carries across eight games. He missed time with a foot issue.
