Drew Rosenhaus says his client Evan Mathis will not be headed to the Dolphins
Evan Mathis has been on the trading block for the last two years in a row, but no one will offer the Eagles anything for him. The veteran lineman does have a heavy contract, but Drew Rosenhaus his agent says him to Miami will not happen.
“I’ve been given permission by the Eagles to shop Evan,” Drew Rosenhaus told the Joe Rose Show on CBS Miami. “We thought we had a trade with another team leading up to the draft. It was not the Dolphins.
“It kind of fell through based on what the team did in the draft, but right now it doesn’t appear the Dolphins are a strong possibility,” Rosenhaus said. “We’ve never really gotten close on a trade with the Dolphins.”
