How many teams were recruiting you out of high school?

1, Utah State…they wanted me to play safety. 

Where did you choose and why?

I chose to go to Blinn JC, as I was not a qualifier out of high school.

What were your goals for your senior year?

I’m not really big on personal accolades, I much rather my team experience success. I wanted my team to go to the Rose bowl, and I wanted to be a significant part of that. 

Have any scouts met with you, and if so what are they saying?

Yes, I got a chance to meet with quite a few teams at the Combine and teams really like my versatility. 

At your position, what separates you from the others?

What separates me from others, is my ability to catch the football and my nose for the end zone…I take pride in finding away to score and help my team. 

Tell us what you look for when breaking down film?

When breaking down film, I pay closest attention to the backers’ tendencies as well as their strengths and weaknesses. 

Who was the toughest player you have ever faced?

Chris Borland from Wisconsin 

If you could compare your play to one person in the NFL who would it be?

I try to just be myself and I study different backs and what they like to do. But if I had to say who i’m comparable to, I’d say Arian Foster/Matt Forte

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

The passing of my father and my brother. I got through it knowing that they wouldn’t want me to feel sorry for myself. Football is apart of me and I played the game with them in my mind and heart.

What system fits your style of play the best?

I honestly feel like i’m versatile enough to fit in numerous offenses, but I know the teams who will be the most interested are ones that use their backs a lot in the passing game. 

What is your biggest strength?

My biggest strengths are my one-cut and go ability, as well as pass catching.

What is your biggest weakness?

My weaknesses would be finishing runs harder on a consistent basis, and cleaning up some things in pass protection. 

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I am a prospect that is in love with the game of football and I will work as hard as I can to improve at my craft everyday. I’m not a partier, you do not have to worry about off the field problems and I am an asset to a football team and the community around it. 

Growing up, who was your role model?

My parents were my biggest role models growing up. 

Who was your favorite team and player in the NFL and why?

I was more of a player watcher, never really had a favorite team. 

If you were to have dinner with three people dead or alive who would it be?

My mom, my dad, and my grandmother 

With your first paycheck what would you buy?

I’m going to make sure my mom is good, and begin making my place in the city i’m playing in feel like home (household products & furniture).
