What is your name?

Dominique Darius Taylor (Domo)

What is your Height/Weight?

6’3 215

What is your position?

Wide Receiver

Where do you play college football?

James Madison University

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

I’m not too sure if this counts but, if you aren’t a highly recruited high school football player in Columbia, SC it is kind of hard to make it. To answer the question I speak to a lot of high school football players and I let them know just because you go D2 or Juco does not mean you lack talent. I share what I have been through just to give younger athletes hope and I feel as though they listen and push harder.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

I am currently taking Physics, it is pretty challenging.

Where are you from?

Columbia, South Carolina

Who is your role model, and why?

My little brother is my role model, he has been through a lot and to see him keep pushing and moving forward is a blessing.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Basketball, Football and a little bit of Soccer.

Did you play any other positions in football?

High School, DE and OLB.

At your position, what separates you from others?

I think my physicality is what separates me. Every Wide Out wants the football, myself included, but I take pride in the details and take care of what needs to be done when I do not have the ball, including downfield blocking.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

It depends on if I looking at film to correct my mistakes or watching the team we are facing next week. If I am watching film to correct my mistakes I look for things like loafs, effort, did I get my depth on this route also am I giving my team my all. If I am watching the opposing team, I look for the type of defense that team is playing the most, player tendencies and how to take someone’s will to guard me.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

 David Rivers

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

DEZ BRYANT, I say Dez because he is athletic, big, strong receiver. I like the emotion he plays with as well as his attitude towards the game of football.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

Over the summer I needed to get my grades up to ensure I’d be able to compete in the 2016-2017 season. With the help of JMU athletics (tutors, academic advisors and guidance councilors) and a little bit of maturity, I focused on what was important and got the job done!

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Not really, I like to listen to music and focus on the game.

What is your biggest strength?

My ability to make difficult catches, in general catch the football.

What is your biggest weakness?

I have to be able to read out a defense while I am on the field.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I have the size, speed, hands, and physicality to compete and win at the next level. I will earn my reps on special teams, I take pride in my downfield blocking, and I will be someone a team can count on to move the chains and make plays. I can guarantee that every workout, every film session, every practice and every game you will have phenomenal effort out of me and not regret the day you signed me. Thank You sir!

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

Michael Irvin.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Biggie, Roger Goodell and Charles Haley.

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

Whatever my mother wants!
