Dez Bryant does not need an injection for his back

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant dealt with a sore back during practice this week and there was a thought he might need a pain injection to play in Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams. Well according to ESPN Fort Worth/Dallas, Bryant doesn’t need a shot in his back and should be fine for the game.

Bryant has dealt with back issues in the past, especially when He took a hit to his back in the 2012 regular-season finale and needed a wheelchair to leave the stadium because he was in so much pain. Bryant said the back issues he suffered in the Week 2 loss at Kansas City are different.

“No concern,” Bryant said. “I got hit in my back. That’s what happened. If you take a blow to the back the way I took a blow to the back, you’re probably going to feel the same way I feel.”

Bryant tore it up last week and I expect him to do it again this week.
