Cowboys have interest in Nate Burleson

The Cowboys are open to signing a veteran free agent, but it has to make financial sense.

ESPN Dallas is reporting the team Has been in talks about signing veteran wide out Nate Burleson, who played for Cowboys passing game coordinator, Scott Linehan, while the two were in Detroit.

In four seasons under Linehan, Burleson caught 12 touchdowns and averaged 10.7 yards per game.

This could be a great fit. Remember on June 1st the Cowboys will gain an additional 5.5 million for their release of Miles Austin. So if they can work out a deal with Burleson it could be a very solid pick up.
