Could Dallas make a trade today for Mikel Leshoure?
Today is the NFL trade deadline at 4:00 pm, and one trade that makes too much sense is the Dallas Cowboys getting a running back to help Tony Romo out. The Dallas Cowboys cannot rely on DeMarco Murray, because he is always injured. Leshoure is a very solid back, but was never really given a shot at the running back position in Detroit. Detroit needs wide out help with Ryan Broyles going down to a torn ACL. I think Miles Austin would be a very good fit for the Lions offense, and would come in right away and play the slot for Matthew Stafford.
The Dallas Cowboys are doing very good without Miles Austin, I think he could definitely be dealt today. We shall see, but this trade sounds like a very viable option. The Lions are looking to get rid of him, with Reggie Bush and Joique Bell both striving in the Detroit offense, I can see Leshoure being sent somewhere, but could it be America’s team?
