Could Cole Beasley be the Cowboys most efficient wide receiver?
Cole Beasley has been very reliable and his teammates are starting to see him as a must go too. Tony Romo has shown he loves him, and when he spoke about him he seemed to really talk big about him.
“He’s doing a good job,” Romo said of Beasley. “He’s running really good routes. He’s got a good feel for the game.”
Beasley, in particular, has shined on third down, when he’s been targeted 15 times and caught 11 passes for 124 yards – proving to be more effective in that situation than either tight end Jason Witten or Bryant. In Dallas’ last-second Week 12 victory over the New York Giants, Beasley’s third-down catch on the Cowboys’ final drive set up Dan Bailey’s game-winning field goal.
“When he is that slot,” head coach Jason Garrett said, “he is a hard matchup for a lot of people. He’s a guy that finds a way to get himself open.”
Cole Beasley has been good ole Mr. Reliable for the Cowboys, my question is; Could Cole Beasley be more reliable than Dez Bryant.
