Chiefs remain very far apart in negotiations with Justin Houston
The Kansas City Chiefs have a little bit of a dilemma on their hands. The team needs to pay two of their playmakers and they are not close on the terms for one of them.
Justin Houston wants big money and according to Jason LaCanfora of CBS Sports the Chiefs remain so far apart in negotiations with Justin Houston that there is not a chance a deal gets done. He will likely play out of his deal. LaCanfora then added via twitter that KC is trying to extend Alex Smith as well, but he says it will be interesting to see who gets franchised.
This is not the news the Chiefs wanted to hear.
