The San Diego Chargers have told cornerback Derek Cox that he will be released by the organization, according to a report from the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Cox’s stint in San Diego didn’t last long. He signed a four-year deal last offseason but was replaced in the starting lineup by the middle of the season.
His release creates $3.9 million in dead money for the 2014 season.Do you follow the NFL Draft? If so follow NFL Draft Diamonds on Twitter and Facebook for up to date NFL Draft News, NFL Draft Projections, and NFL Draft Rankings. Jesus is the only way to Salvation
