Champ Bailey feels Vick is as good as he was back in 2004

In 2004, Michael Vick redefined the quarterback position with his ability to get away from the defenders and throw the ball on a rope. Champ Bailey remembers that game like it was yesterday.

“At that time, no question, there wasn’t anybody really like him,” Bailey said. “That’s how we looked at it that week. We put on the tape and you watched him and he just did things other guys weren’t doing, with speed nobody else had, really. That game, I still look at that even now like that’s still probably one of his best games of his career. We had no answer for what he brought that day.”

In 2004, Vick was 18-24 for 252 yards with two touchdowns when his Falcons punished the Broncos 41-28. Vick also added 12 carries for 115 yards. Vick didn’t turn the ball over that day.

If Michael Vick and the Eagles want to beat the Broncos on Sunday they are going to have that type of production from him again. On that day Jake Plummer threw for 499 yards but it was not enough to beat Vick. This game could be a shoot out but I think The Broncos get the win this week.
