While I was at Portland State, we had the opportunity to go to a local church and serve food to the homeless in the area. It was humbling and cool to spend time with people who were less fortunate.

My accounting senior capstone

My role model is my brother. He has always been the person to tell me what I can accomplish if I stay consistent with my work ethic and attitude, and has been there with me through everything. He is my biggest critic and my biggest fan, I owe him a bunch.

I played Defensive End and Left Guard in high school

At your position, what separates you from others?

My ability to prepare for the next opponent. I spend all free time watching film looking for tendencies and hand signals that can tip coverage or stunts.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I watch the film threw a couple of times. The first time I just let the tape play through and look for the players that stand out and what they do well as well as what gives them problems. The second time through I watch for move tendencies or leans or anything of that nature. And the last time through I watch for coverage tendencies and stunt tendencies along with any hand signals or ways they show their play before the snap.

James Cowser who played at Southern Utah and now plays for the Raiders.

Jacob Tamme because we are the same size and move around the formation a lot.

When I was in high school, one of my best friends drowned and passed away. My group of friends and I were able to come together along with my buddies family and spend time with each other and help ease the pain a bit.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I’m one of the first ones on the field, and I catch balls with the QB as well as get a couple snaps in with the kickers and punters. Right before I go in to the locker room, I take a lap around the field and call my dad to tell him I love him and appreciate everything he’s done for me.

Work Ethic

Size
